1. Morning Pickup – Johannesburg or Pretoria
Your Jaribu Tours & Safaris driver-guide will collect you from your hotel, apartment, residence or other agreed pickup location in Johannesburg or Pretoria.

2. Voortrekker Monument
Begin your Pretoria sightseeing experience at the impressive Voortrekker Monument.
Explore this important heritage landmark and learn about the history surrounding the Voortrekkers and the Great Trek. The monument and museum provide historical perspectives on the movement of pioneers from the Cape into the interior of Southern Africa.
3. Drive Past Kgosi Mampuru Correctional Services
Continue through Pretoria while your guide provides commentary on important landmarks and locations along the route.
The tour includes a drive past the Kgosi Mampuru Correctional Services complex, subject to the day's road conditions and route accessibility.
4. Paul Kruger House Museum
Visit the historic Paul Kruger House, the former residence of Paul Kruger and his family.
The museum preserves the house and collections associated with Kruger's life and the history of the Zuid-Afrikaansche Republiek.
5. Church Square
Continue to Church Square, the historic heart of Pretoria.
Take in the surrounding historic buildings and the famous statue of Paul Kruger while your guide explains the significance of the square and its place in Pretoria's development. Church Square is surrounded by important historic structures including the Palace of Justice and the Old Raadsaal.
6. Union Buildings

The Union Buildings are the official seat of South Africa's national government and house the Presidency. Built on Meintjieskop, they overlook Pretoria and form an important part of the country's political and architectural heritage.
Enjoy time for photographs and views of Pretoria from the surrounding grounds, subject to access restrictions and operational conditions.
7. Lunch Break
Take a break for lunch before continuing to the wildlife portion of the tour.

8. Travel to Lion & Safari Park
Leave Pretoria behind and travel towards the Lion & Safari Park in the Cradle of Humankind area.
The park offers a variety of wildlife experiences, including guided safaris, self-drives and animal encounters.
9. Guided Safari Experience
Enjoy a guided safari through the park in a safari vehicle.
The current park experience includes guided safari activities that provide opportunities to see predators and other wildlife. Depending on the selected activity and animal movements, possible sightings include:

- Other antelope and wildlife
The park's current 2-hour guided safari includes the predator areas and antelope safari area.
Wildlife sightings are never guaranteed, as animals move freely and their behaviour varies according to weather, season and conditions.
10. Giraffe Feeding
Where conditions permit, enjoy the opportunity to feed giraffes from the designated feeding platform.
Please note: Giraffes roam freely within the reserve and may not always be present at the feeding platform. Giraffe feeding is therefore subject to availability on the day.
11. Return Journey
After completing the wildlife experience, begin your return journey to Johannesburg or Pretoria.
12. Hotel Drop-Off
